Cleoni Natacha Crawford

Founder, Dr Music 42 | Mental Health Advocate | Speaker | Author | Former Fashion Designer (C-virtue)

Cleoni Natacha Crawford is a mental health advocate, entrepreneur, speaker, and former fashion designer, recognized for her powerful storytelling and commitment to transforming how the world understands mental health.
She is the founder of Dr Music 42, a purpose-driven brand at the intersection of music, fashion, and mental wellness, built on the belief that
music is therapy.

A graduate of the University of Toronto, George Brown College, and Centennial College—where she earned a diploma in Addictions and Mental Health—Cleoni brings both academic knowledge and lived experience to her work. Her journey with bipolar disorder, diagnosed in 2006, has included significant life challenges, including repeated hospitalizations, homelessness, incarceration, and suicidal ideation. Rather than being defined by these experiences, Cleoni has transformed them into a platform for impact, resilience, and hope.
Her advocacy was deeply shaped by personal loss, including the passing of her sister and her sister’s best friend. These experiences inspired her to share her story publicly and led to the release of her book, The Music of My Life, which details her journey with mental illness and healing through music.

Before launching Dr Music 42, Cleoni worked as a fashion designer for the brand C-virtue, where she developed her creative foundation and passion for using fashion as a form of expression. Today, she brings that background into her current work—merging style, storytelling, and social impact to create a brand that speaks without words.
Cleoni is also the host of the Resilient Minds 365 Podcast, where she interviews entrepreneurs and professionals who have overcome mental health challenges. Through honest and impactful conversations, she amplifies voices of resilience and reinforces her message that mental illness does not define a person’s future.

Her work has been featured across major media platforms, including CTV, Global TV, CBC Radio, The Globe and Mail, Toronto Life, 100 Huntley Street, and Daytime Toronto on Rogers TV, positioning her as a trusted and influential voice in the mental health space.

Through Dr Music 42 and her broader initiatives, Cleoni is building a global movement that:

  • Breaks stigma around mental health
  • Promotes music as a tool for healing
  • Creates community through culture, fashion, and storytelling
Grounded in faith and driven by purpose, Cleoni’s mission is clear:
to help people feel seen, heard, and healed—while proving that it is possible to not only survive mental illness, but to thrive.
